Le don principal de teddy, et le premier à s'être manifesté, est la capacité à changer d'apparence. Par ce don, il a la possibilité de prendre l'apparence d'un humain caucasien des plus basiques (ou, selon ses dires, un kree rose) ou bien d'avoir l'apparence d'un skrull, à la peau verte. Ce don lui permet également de faire apparaître des ailes lui permettant de voler. Il possède également un facteur guérisseur, là encore hérité de son adn skrull, et étroitement lié à sa capacité de métamorphe.
